High Quality Content by WIKIPEDIA articles! Sagariphora is a genus of moths of the Crambidae family. A moth is an insect closely related to the butterfly, both being of the order Lepidoptera. Moths form the majority of this order; there are thought to be 150,000 to 250,000 different species of moth, with thousands of species yet to be described. Most species of moth are nocturnal, but there are crepuscular and diurnal species.Moth larvae, or caterpillars, make cocoons. It will spend the third stage of its life inside the cocoon. When it comes out of the cocoon, it is a fully grown moth with wings. Some moth caterpillars dig holes in the ground, and they will live in the hole until they are ready to turn into a fully grown moth.
